who we are
2018-19 SCHOOL YEAR
LETTER FROM OUR DIRECTOR:
"I am forever blessed and honored to lead Protect Life Michigan as Executive Director. Your partnership with us continues to overwhelm me with gratitude at the commitment of Michiganders to the abolition of abortion in our state. We may not be in the majority, but we are a strong, steady voice in the fight for the unborn. With each new student recruited, trained, and networked, we are adding another powerhouse to that growing voice..."

"As long as I have known Protect Life Michigan, I have never felt alone in this movement. I have been shown love, support, and encouragement through mentorship, trainings, campus advocacy events and more. Above all, Protect Life Michigan has taught me to know, love and serve the person in front of me."

We unveiled our change from Students for Life of Michigan and officially became Protect Life Michigan! Same mission, refreshed name.
For the first time ever, students attended the Life Advocate Intensive! They learned apologetics, dialogue tips and life span development from pro-life experts and then took their new skills to the streets!
180 students attended the Ignite and Equip Conference- doubling our audience from the previous year! We are continuing to expand every year and improve training topics.
Our team is growing! In 2018, we hired Connor Adams & Angelica Abbott. In 2019, we hired Jenny Bober. Jessi Corsen was also promoted as Director of Campus Outreach in early 2019.
A number of Albion College and WMU students were invited to Washington to meet President Trump during the signing of his executive order on free speech. We hope this helps end pro-life discrimination on campus!
Two graduating seniors were honored with Civil Rights Tributes from the Michigan House of Representatives!
Thanks to some generous donors, we were able to purchase over 300 tickets for the Unplanned movie for our students!
After reviewing our current programs, we developed a new campus model! It was unveiled at a coalition meeting of our student leaders and will exponentially increase outreach on campus.

For someone involved in the pro-life movement, [Protect Life Michigan] has proven, once again, how great of a resource they are. Bringing together pro-life vendors and connecting students statewide, they have really cultivated a community of people working for the cause of life.
